Right now, I'm the kind of tired where I want to muck around for a bit until I feel less tired, and then do the less fun things that need to be done. Like the dishes. And the weeds. The weeds make me sad- they're so fast growing that I might have to spray them to keep on top of them. :(

I have started reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor. It's good so far, but not mind-blowing. I had been reading a Doctor Who novel that my sister had lent me- a 7th and Ace one called Matrix which was oddness. Odd as in, for most of the book the Doctor isn't anywhere and Ace is trying to fend for herself in 19th century London.

I have seen all of Avatar: tLA. It didn't feel as long as the other seasons, but maybe that's because I ultra-marathoned it over the weekend. Or because it has a 2-parter and a 4-parter in there.
There's some damn cool things in there writing-wise. I realised yesterday that the writer-reason for the invasion attempt on the day of black sun to fail was that they had already said that the day of Sozin's comet was going to be a really bad thing, so of course Aang will be fighting Ozin then. But it also means that the gang have to recover from an unexpected setback (and that they might be desperate enough to allow a former enemy to help them do crazy things like break into a high security prison) and then set up for them to go into the final battle with not much preparation.
I heart Zuko. I had been waiting for him to join up with the gang allll the way through book 2, and I was a bit disappointed that he didn't spend much time episode-wise with them. But there were some really good moments in there, too. When he came to join them and they said no, I was kind of- sad that their acceptance was very, very tentative, but I knew that it wasn't logical for it to happen any other way.
I have a sneaking suspicion that I have a thing for emo boys. I do very much heart Zuko.
